Now that you are acquainted with the story, I can tell you how my sister and I decided to boost a bit more her visibility in the Irish town we are living in. And we ended up in a book like no other called “Tertulia“. A lovely space where you can sense the magic in the air, and chill to read in Harry Potter’s room under the stairs.
So as we knew that they usually hosted some exhibitions, we visited them with some ideas in mind, like having Artax Dreams fantasy shoes and other items displayed. Or we could just form a sisterhood to exhibit our Art for a few weeks.
We ended up joining up for Harry Potter’s Day, which would be the 2nd of May. An important event that normally would attract lots of fans around the world. So this opportunity would give my sister the opportunity to be more known, which I’d accompany with some personal adaptation of the landscapes from the saga.
While my sister would prepare her customized shoes, and designed clothes to sell, I’d add my part with merchandising taken from my version of landscapes and Hogwarts founders – a bit of mix-work on portrait, landscape study and design during my spare time.
This brought some memories back from the time we used to be part of the company, but now we were giving own personal approach to our own firm, not having to deal with a shared brand. I think that’s exactly what I was looking for and it’s amazing to see how my sister got her own voice into this company that is another part of herself.
Unfortunately, we all know that this year got a bit different than the way we got it planned due to this Covit-19. So, as anybody else, we had to see how this event got cancelled, avoiding a bigger hazard on people’s risk of getting infected. Health always comes first, and I am sure that we will be able to experience this opportunity in the future. We are looking forward to it.
In the meantime, we are putting all our effort to put our products on-line. In my personal case it’s just a project to be done in the near future, surely.
I am really grateful to see that each opportunity brings something new and very powerful to us, and I am eager to keep following every chance I have to challenge myself through my ways of creation.
